Thanks to this test, it answers all your questions. The mouse pointer is still there even if I navigate with the controller, and the game knows that I have an Xbox controller because I see Xbox buttons in the menu options. I plug in the bluetooth adapter and pair my Xbox controller I disable overlays both in Steam and in the EA appġ0. The mouse pointer is still in the center of the screen all the time in exactly the same way even if I navigate around with the keyboard.ħ. Please note that I have not changed a single setting in either Windows or Steam or installed anything else. I press PLAY in Steam and then the EA app is installed and then the game starts I installed EA Sports PGA Tour in Steamĥ. I replaced the hard drive with an emtpy formatted hard drive (which I had as a spare)Ĥ. I have another complete PC in the household with which I now tested the following:ġ. Hi of answering all these questions (even if the answer is NO to all of them) and doing all these tests, I just did another test that also answers all these questions in a better way. Is this a known bug, or what am I doing wrong? So, does anyone here know what causes this error? If so, what is the solution?Īre all of you with Steam on PC and a controller experiencing the same issue? I have also seen tips about turning off overlays, both in the EA app and in Steam, but this makes no difference. For obvious reasons, I can't start the game without having both of these running. I don't know if this error is related to the Steam app and/or the EA app in the background. I've also tried starting the game without either mouse or keyboard connected, same mouse pointer in the middle anyway. Sure, I can move the mouse pointer to the outer edge with my mouse, but it re-centers every now and then during gameplay all the time. I only use the Xbox controller in the game, so I don't want this mouse cursor in the middle of the screen all the time, which disturbs the navigation. This is clearly visible in the video after I click on Quick Play. The biggest problem is that the mouse pointer keeps moving my active selection to where the mouse pointer is.
